Jacques

Jacques is a 9 year old Blenheim boy who is looking for his forever home. Jacques is a very special boy with a sweet, sensitive and affectionate nature. He is very friendly to both humans and other dogs. His foster carer has seen signs of separation anxiety so Jacques must be rehomed with a family who is either retired, or works from home. Jacques would love have a fur brother or sister that he can hang out with. Alternatively, if he is an only child, he would ideally like to be included in his families activities so he is not left home alone.

Jacques loves going for daily walks where he is given the time to sniff and explore. Jacques loves to hang out on the sofa after his morning walk and relax. Jacques enjoys sleeping in either the main bed, or on a sofa. When in a deep sleep Jacques snores.

Jacques is a typical Cavalier is loves food. While in foster care he has been enjoying 5 Hounds by Dr Will. Consuming this diet has improved his coat, his eyes, he is more alert and has much more energy on walks.

- Desexed, vaccinated, overall health check, dental check.

- Grade 4 heart murmur (requires daily medication)

- Dry eye (requires daily medication)

- Mild separation anxiety

- Great with grooming, other dogs, humans and children over 10 years

- Cats untested

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Jacques has special requirements due to his heart ailments. He needs appropriate high quality food, a one level home and he needs to be walked at the coolest time of the day. He is prone to separation anxiety so he must be adopted by someone who is home the majority of the time ie retired or works from home.
