Hi, I’m Larry — you might remember me. I’ve been here a little while now, just waiting for the right person to see me for who I am!

I’m a loving, affectionate boy who absolutely adores being close to my humans. If you’ve got a lap, I’ll be on it. If you’re home, I’ll be happiest 🐾

What I love:
✅ Playing with other dogs my size
✅ A good wrestle and chase
✅ Swimming
✅ Following scents
✅ Cuddles and being close to my people
✅ Learning and using my nose — I’d be amazing at scent or nose work

What I already know:
✅ Crate trained
✅ Toilet trained
✅ I know how to sit nicely for my dinner
✅ I’ve got all the basics down — I just need someone willing to keep guiding me 💛

Now… I do have a few important things you need to know 👇

What Larry needs:
✅ Someone who is home most of the time — maybe you work from home or you’re retired
✅ A patient, present, and committed adopter
✅ Secure fencing (minimum 180cm) (Im training for my pole vaulting PB!)
✅ Ideally a barrier at the base of the fence
✅ Ongoing training and structure
✅ A home in QLD Gold Coast and surrounds only

What Larry is not suited to:
❌ Being left alone for long periods
❌ A home without secure fencing
❌ A home that can’t provide ongoing training and consistency
❌ A home outside the Gold Coast and surrounds
❌ A family looking for a dog who can be left to figure things out on his own

I’ve also been told I’m a bit of an escape artist… but honestly, it’s just because I want to be with you. So I need a home that understands I’m happiest when I’m close to my person.

I’m not asking for a perfect home — just the right one. Someone patient, present, and ready to give me the love and guidance I need to truly settle.
