Alfred

Lovely Alfred is one of our senior dogs in permanent care. He is being lovingly cared for by a very special foster carer who has a real soft spot for ‘the oldies’. This means that Alfred will see his days out in a loving foster home while remaining under the wing of CKCSRQ.

Alfred was 11 years old when he came into our care and he has a high-grade heart murmur. Despite a real scare in mid-2020, Alfred rallied after receiving some oxygen, medication and care from the hospital staff and was soon back home. Some changes to his medication regime will hopefully see Alfred comfortable and happy for some time yet. A quiet laidback boy Alfred enjoys being groomed and having his face washed by his attentive housemate Buddy, who is also a previous CKCSRQ boy.
