Poppy
Poppy is a beautiful little black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. In early 2025, she was diagnosed with Syringomyelia, and due to her owner’s time constraints for her ongoing care, she was surrendered to us.
Poppy underwent two months of physical therapy, including laser therapy, acupuncture, and hydrotherapy to help with her spinal spasms and pain. Poppy took everything in her stride with her sweet nature, and she won the hearts of everyone she met along the way.
Now, with her minor limitations, she continues to be an avid explorer on walks and daily car rides are a non-negotiable part of her life. We live in hope that Poppy will continue to live a happy and full life.
Poppy is living her life in Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Queensland’s permanent foster care program.
