Oakley (formerly Lachlan)

Lachlan (renamed Oakley) was a charismatic and cheerful Blenheim boy that charmed you as soon as you locked eyes with him. Oakley arrived into the care of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Queensland (CKCSRQ) aged 11.5 years old. He immediately had treatment for ear infections and visited our groomer to manage his coat. He also embarked upon a weight reduction diet of healthy raw food to help drop excess kilos and take the stress off his senior joints. This also helped him breathe more easily.

Oakley’s forever family had been patiently waiting for the right dog to come along for over twelve months prior to meeting him. It was most definitely a case of love at first sight. Oakley quickly cast his spell and secured himself a permanent spot on the couch!

Oakley lived his best life until he was almost 16 years old. His forever family said goodbye to him on the 29th August 2025.

RIP sweet Oakley.
