Success Stories
We have found forever homes for the many Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that have come into our care since the idea for Cavalier Rescue was born in 1999. Sometimes this takes longer than we expect because we are dedicated to finding the right forever home for each cavalier based on each Cavaliers individual needs.
Treat your eyes to the following photos of these endearing and adorable angels. These furry heroes have overcome adversity and are now enjoying their best lives in their forever homes with families that love and care for them.
Through the success of these Cavaliers we celebrate the incredible resilience and unwavering spirit of these furry survivors, showcasing the transformative power of compassion and love. Prepare to be moved, inspired and reminded that every adoption of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a triumph, every rescued soul a beacon of hope.

Ruby
Ruby was 7-years-old when she came into our care. Since then she has been adopted into a loving forever family and is living her best life. As an avid explorer Ruby loves slow walks on her extra-long lead. She adores having the freedom to sniff and meander about until her heart is content.

Ali
Ali was rescued from a rural breeding facility. Sadly we found that Ali was unfamiliar with most aspects of everyday life. She would freeze when her foster carer tried to take her on a walk. Ali worked with a trainer and slowly became more confident and trusting. Ali has since been adopted and now lives a happy and enriched life where she loves walks and spending time with people and her furry friends.

Lachlan
Lachie arrived into our care at 12 years old. He suffer from ear infections, an unkept coat and obesity. After working with our vets, a groomer and a devoted foster carer Lachie soon got his health back. Daily walks and a healthy raw food diet helped him drop the kilos that were causing joint stress and pain. He is now living with his loving forever family living his best life.

Chloe
At four years old Chloe is an absolute sweetheart, a typical Cavalier. She has the most endearing personality and gorgeous eyes that follow your every move. Upon being adopted into her forever home she quickly devoted herself to her new Dad. Chloe is also a great guard dog and a talented huntsman and mouse hunter.

Eva & Bailey
Gorgeous black and tan sisters Eva and Bailey arrived in our care as a result of their previous family having increased work commitments. Eva required surgery for a locating patella and both girls needed dental work. These precious girls were in our care for five months. Avid hunters (and typical Cavaliers), Eva and Bailey love chasing birds.

Daisy
Daisy was surrendered into our care as a result of separation anxiety issues and a dislike of other dogs. After spending time in foster care, Daisy found her forever home with a loving family. With patience and understanding this little angel, affectionately know as ‘Daisy the Diva’ has mostly overcome her previous challenges. Daisy is well known around her local village and wins hearts on her morning walk to the coffee shop.

Barney
At just one, beautiful Blenheim Barney was surrendered due to friction with a senior dog in his household who was attacking him. Barney was also apprehensive towards new people and was very submissive with other Cavaliers. Understandably it took Barney a little while to settle into his foster home. After building his confidence he was adopted. Barney is loving his new forever family and is the life of the party.
